Mar 28 – Saskatchewan held a new invitation round in the SINP

On May 28, 2020, Saskatchewan invited 252 candidates in the SINP. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 127 invitations and another 125 in the Occupations In-Demand category. The lowest score in both categories was 78 points. SINP invited candidates in 44 different NOCs in this draw. Candidates invited in this draw have a close family relative in Saskatchewan or completed an academic program in the post-secondary institution in the province. In 2020, Saskatchewan invited 2,336 candidates.

Mar 26 – Saskatchewan invited 205 Occupations In-Demand candidates

On March 26, 2020, Saskatchewan held a new draw in the SINP. In this round, Saskatchewan issued invitations to apply (ITA) for the provincial nomination only to candidates in the Occupations In-Demand category. In total, the province invited 205 candidates and the lowest score was 75 points, six points higher than in the previous round. In this round, SINP invited candidates in 71 different NOCs. In total, Saskatchewan issued 2,084 ITAs in 2020.

Mar 5 – Saskatchewan issued ITAs to 73 entrepreneurs

On March 5, 2020, Saskatchewan conducted a new invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program. In this round, SINP invited 73 candidates. The highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score for this round was 130 points. The average score was 115 points. The lowest score was 110, and those applicants were invited to apply only if they scored a CLB level of 4 or higher in English or French. In total, Saskatchewan invited 115 entrepreneurs in 2020.

Feb 27 – Saskatchewan sent ITAs to 576 candidates

On February 27, 2020, Saskatchewan held a new invitation round in the SINP. This time, the province issued 576 invitations to apply for a nomination of Saskatchewan. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 301 invitations and another 275 in the Occupations In-Demand category. The lowest score in both categories was 69 points, one point lower than in the previous round. SINP invited candidates in 94 different NOCs in this draw. In total, Saskatchewan invited 1,806 candidates in 2020.

Feb 13 – Saskatchewan sent 646 invitations in the new round

On February 13, 2020, Saskatchewan held a new draw in the SINP. The province sent invitations to apply (ITA) for the provincial nomination to 646 candidates: 277 invitations to apply in the Express Entry category, and 369 in the Occupations In-Demand category. The lowest score in both categories was 70 points, one point higher than in the previous round. In this round, the Saskatchewan government invited candidates in 107 different NOCs. In total, Saskatchewan invited 1,230 candidates in 2020 under all streams of SINP.

Jan 13 – Immigration to Saskatchewan: The province already invited 584 candidates in 2020!

On January 13, 2020, Saskatchewan conducted a new invitation round in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). This time, Saskatchewan issued 125 invitations to apply in the Express Entry category, and 109 in the Occupations In-Demand category. The lowest score in both categories was 69 points. In this draw, SINP invited candidates in 65 different NOCs. In total, SINP invited 584 candidates in 2020.

Jan 9 – Saskatchewan invited 308 candidates in the new draw

On January 9, 2020, Saskatchewan issued the first invitations to apply for the provincial nomination to 308 candidates in the SINP. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 142 invitations to apply. In the Occupations In-Demand category, SINP invited 166 candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 69 points. SINP invited candidates in 82 different NOCs in this draw. Saskatchewan invited 350 candidates in 2020.

Jan 7 – Saskatchewan invited 42 entrepreneurs 

On January 7, Saskatchewan invited 42 candidates in the Entrepreneur stream of the SINP. The highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score for this round was 145 points. The average score was 120 points. The lowest score of this round was 115, however, those candidates were invited only if they demonstrated language proficiency at the CLB 4 level. In 2019, SINP issued invitations to 324 candidates via the Entrepreneur Stream. The next invitation round is scheduled for March 5, 2020.
