Prince Edward Island added new designated employers
On December 31, 2019, Prince Edward Island updated the list of Designated Employers for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). The updated list contains 300 designated employers. Since the last update, PEI designated 24 new employers. As of Dec 31, 2019, there are 2,351 employers designated to hire foreign workers in the AIPP in all four employers.
Prince Edward Island invited 128 candidates in the last draw of 2019
On December 19, 2019, Prince Edward Island invited 128 candidates in the PEI PNP. In round #23, PEI PNP invited 117 skilled workers via the economic streams and 11 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream to apply for a provincial nomination. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 140 points, ten points more compared to the previous round. The next round is scheduled for January 16, 2020. PEI has already invited 1,646 candidates in 2019 and 193 of them were business-immigrants (12%) and 1,453 skilled workers (88%). In total, PEIPNP invited candidates from 29 countries.

On November 21, 2019, Prince Edward Island invited 171 candidates in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In round #22, PEI PNP invited 157 skilled workers via the economic streams, including Express Entry candidates and 14 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream to apply for a provincial nomination. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 130, eight points higher compared to the previous round. The last draw of this year is scheduled for December 19, 2019. This year PEI has already invited 1,518 candidates. 182 of them are business-immigrants (12%) and 1,336 skilled workers (88%). PEIPNP invited candidates from 29 countries in 2019.

On October 17, 2019, Prince Edward Island invited a new batch of candidates to apply for a provincial nomination via the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In round #21, PEI PNP invited 146 skilled workers via the economic streams, including Express Entry candidates and 12 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 122, seven points higher compared to the previous round. In total, PEI invited 158 candidates in this round. The next draw is scheduled for November 21, 2019. PEI has already invited 1,345 candidates in 2019 and 168 of them are business-immigrants and 1,177 skilled workers.

On September 19, 2019, Prince Edward Island held a new round of invitations for candidates under the Labour Impact and Business Impact categories of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In round #20, PEI PNP invited 109 skilled workers via the economic streams, including Express Entry candidates and 13 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 115, three points higher compared to the previous invitation round. In total, PEI invited 122 candidates in this round. The next draw is scheduled for October 17, 2019. In total, this year, PEI invited 1,187 candidates: among them, 156 are business-candidates and 1,031 skilled workers.

In round #19, PEI PNP invited 133 skilled workers via the economic streams, including Express Entry candidates and 10 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 112, the same as in the two previous rounds in June and July. In total, PEI invited 143 candidates in this round. The next draw is scheduled for September 19, 2019. In total, this year, PEI invited 1,065 candidates: among them, 143 are business-candidates and 922 skilled workers.

On July 18, 2019, the province of Prince Edward Island held a new round of invitations for candidates under the Labour Impact and Business Impact categories of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In this round, PEI PNP invited 118 skilled workers via the economic streams, including Express Entry candidates and 17 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 112, the same as in the previous round on June 20. In total, PEI issued 113 invitations in this round. The next draw is scheduled for August 15, 2019. Since the beginning of 2019, PEI PNP issued 922 invitations. Among them 133 invitations under the Business Impact Category, and 789 under the Labour Impact Category.

In this round, PEI PNP invited 106 skilled workers via the economic streams, including Express Entry candidates. Another 7 invitations were sent to Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 112, five points higher than in the previous round. In total, PEI issued 113 invitations in this round. The next draw is scheduled for July 18, 2019. Since the beginning of 2019, PEI PNP issued 787 invitations. Among them 116 invitations under the Business Impact Category, and 671 under the Labour Impact Category.

On May 16, 2019, Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) held a new invitation round. In this round, PEI PNP invited 90 candidates in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. Another 14 invitations were sent to Business Impact Category candidates. The lowest score for the business-candidates was 107. In total, PEI issued 104 invitations in this round. Invitations to Apply have been extended to candidates from 91 countries. The next draw is scheduled for June 20, 2019. Since the beginning of 2019, PEI PNP issued 674 invitations. Among them 109 invitations under the Business Impact Category, and 565 under the Labour Impact and Express Entry categories.
