Manitoba held a new invitation round in the MPNP

On December 19, 2019, Manitoba invited 183 candidates in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In EOI draw #79, Manitoba sent 149 invitations for candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score in this stream was 542. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 17 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in this stream was 559 points. In addition, MPNP invited 17 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba sent 183 LAAs in this round and 16 of them were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile. Manitoba invited 7,548 candidates under all streams of MPNP in 2019.

Immigration to Manitoba: MPNP held EOI draw #78

On December 6, 2019, Manitoba invited 221 candidates in the MPNP. In EOI draw #78, the province issued Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) to 165 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score was 522. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 23 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score was 718 points. MPNP also invited 33 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 221 LAAs in this round and 18 of them went to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile. In total, Manitoba invited 7,365 candidates in the MPNP in 2019.

Manitoba conducted EOI draw #77

On November 21, 2019, Manitoba invited 230 persons in the MPNP. In EOI draw #77, Manitoba issued Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) to 185 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score in this stream was 504. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 16 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in this stream was 739 points. In addition, MPNP invited 29 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 230 LAAs in this round and 20 of them were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile. Manitoba invited 7,144 candidates under all streams of MPNP in 2019.

On November 7, 2019, Manitoba invited 180 candidates in the MPNP. Manitoba issued invitations to 133 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score in this stream was 560. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 24 invitations under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The minimum score in this stream was 719 points. In addition, MPNP invited 23 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 180 LAAs in this round and 23 of them were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile. Manitoba issued 157 invitations to MPNP

On October 24, 2019, Manitoba issued 157 invitations to MPNP. In the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the province invited 117 people. The minimum score was 567 points. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 24 invitations as part of the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The minimum score in this category was 685 points. In addition, Manitoba issued 16 invitations to the International Education Stream category. In total, the Manitoba government issued 157 LAAs in this round and 12 of them were sent to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile. Since the beginning of the year, Manitoba has already issued 6,734 invitations through MPNP.

On October 15, 2019, Manitoba released its immigration statistics for September 2019. This month, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) nominated 322 Skilled Workers and approved 1 business concept. 29 profiles of Skilled Workers and 3 entrepreneur profiles were refused from MPNP this month. The province received 329 new applications from Skilled Workers and 8 applications from Business Investors. In total, in 2019 MPNP issued 3,283 nominations certificates: 3,242 for Skilled Workers and 41 for Business-immigrants.

Manitoba issued 193 invitations in the new round

On October 10, 2019, Manitoba held an invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In EOI draw #74, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the province invited 147 candidates. The lowest score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 567. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 22 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in this stream was 718 points. In addition, MPNP invited 24 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 193 invitations in this round and 24 of them were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. In total, Manitoba invited 6,557 candidates under all streams of MPNP in 2019.

Manitoba invited 224 candidates in the EOI Draw #73

On September 25, 2019, Manitoba held the EOI draw #73 in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In this round, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the province invited 140 candidates. The lowest score was 537. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 59 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Manitoba issued 300 provincial nominations in August 2019

On September 17, 2019, Manitoba released its immigration statistics for August 2019. In this month, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) nominated 299 Skilled Workers and 1 Business Investor and 5 business concepts have been approved. 142 profiles of Skilled Workers and 3 entrepreneur profiles were refused from MPNP this month. The province received 360 new Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Skilled Workers and 9 EOIs from Business Investors. In total, in 2019 MPNP issued 2,937 nominations certificates: 2,920 for Skilled Workers and 17 for business-immigrants.

Manitoba issued 2,637 provincial nomination certificates in 2019

On September 11, 2019, Manitoba released its immigration statistics for June and July 2019. In June, Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) nominated 352 Skilled Workers and approved 1 business concept. 36 profiles of Skilled Workers received a refusal from MPNP in this month. The province received 603 new Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Skilled Workers and 10 EOIs from Business Investors. In June, Manitoba received 477 applications from Skilled Workers and 6 applications from Business-candidates. In July, Manitoba nominated 332 Skilled Workers, 1 business-immigrant and approved 4 business concepts. MPNP received 527 new Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Skilled Workers and 16 EOIs from Business Investors in July. In July, 381 full applications from Skilled Workers and 7 applications from Business Investors were submitted to MPNP. In total, MPNP nominated 2,621 Skilled Workers and 16 Business Investors in 2019. 

The EOI Draw #72 was held in Manitoba

On September 12, 2019, Manitoba held the EOI invitations round #72 in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In the new round, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, Manitoba invited 254 candidates. The lowest score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 545. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 53 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in this stream was 706 points. In addition, MPNP invited 40 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 347 invitations in the EOI draw #72. 45 LAAs were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. In total, Manitoba invited 6,160 candidates under all streams of MPNP in 2019.

On September 11, 2019, Manitoba published the result of the invitations round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held on August 15, 2019. In EOI draw #71, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 241 candidates. The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 542. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 83 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 685. In addition, MPNP invited 36 candidates in the International Education Category. On July 18, 2019, Manitoba held a new round of invitations in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In EOI draw #70, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 110 candidates. The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 539. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 40 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 718. In addition, MPNP invited 23 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 173 LAAs in this round. 29 LAAs were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. Since the beginning of the year, Manitoba invited 5,453 candidates under all streams of MPNP.

On July 5, 2019, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In draw #69, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 85 candidates. The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 565. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 45 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 619. Manitoba also invited 203 candidates who have close ties in Manitoba or have six months of work experience in an occupation in Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list. The lowest score of those candidates was 594. In addition, MPNP invited 21 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 354 LAAs in this round. 91 LAAs were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. Since the beginning of the year, Manitoba invited 5,280 candidates under all streams of MPNP.

EOI Draw #68 in Manitoba: 450 invitations

On June 20, 2019, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In draw #68, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 101 candidates. The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 475. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 60 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 704. Manitoba also invited 288 candidates who have close ties in Manitoba or have six months of work experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list. The lowest score of those candidates was 599. In addition, MPNP invited 28 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 450 LAAs in this round. 133 LAAs were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. This June, Manitoba already invited 659 candidates via MPNP, and since the beginning of the year, the number of LAAs issued by the province reached 4,926.

Manitoba released its immigration statistics for May 2019. In May, Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) nominated 603 Skilled Workers and 6 Business Investors. 65 profiles of Skilled Workers received a refusal from MPNP in this month. The province received 766 new Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Skilled Workers and 8 EOIs from Business Investors. MPNP also issued 366 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) for Skilled Workers, received 14 business concepts and issued 9 LAAs for business candidates. In total, MPNP nominated 1,937 Skilled Workers and 15 Business Investors in 2019.

Manitoba invited 209 candidates in the new round

On June 7, 2019, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In draw #67, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 121 candidates. The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 542. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 60 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 701. In addition, MPNP invited 28 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 209 LAAs in this round. 18 of them were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 4,476 candidates via MPNP.

The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 548. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 60 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 506. Finally, MPNP invited 17 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 196 LAAs in this round. 27 of them were issued to candidates who have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 4,267 candidates via MPNP.

As of May 1, 2019, 3,954 profiles of Skilled Workers were submitted in the Inventory of Expressions of Interest of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). All those profiles received a Letter of Advice to Apply for MPNP. In addition, 77 Business Investor Stream candidates submitted their business concepts to date. 35 of them also received a Letter of Advice to Apply. 168 profiles of Skilled Workers received a refusal from MPNP in 2019. MPNP nominated 1,334 Skilled Workers and 9 Business Investors this year.

Manitoba invited 170 candidates in the new draw

On May 9, 2019, Manitoba held a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #65, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 101 candidates. The lowest ranking score of those who received Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 569. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 52 LAAs under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 616. Finally, MPNP invited 17 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 170 LAAs in this round. 15 of them were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 4,071 candidates via MPNP.

On April 25, 2019, Manitoba held a new Expression of Interests draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #64, in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the province issued 208 Letters of Advice to Apply. The lowest ranking score was 510. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 66 Letters of Advice to Apply under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 632. In addition, MPNP also invited 25 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 299 invitations in this round and the total number of invitations issued in April is 702. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 3,901 candidates via MPNP.

In this round, MPNP sent Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) only to the candidates in the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. MPNP issued 51 Letters of Advice to Apply under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 695. In addition, MPNP invited 352 candidates who have a close relative in Manitoba or have six months of work experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list. The lowest score of those candidates was 561. In total, Manitoba issued 403 invitations in this round. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 3,602 candidates via MPNP.

In the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the province issued 262 Letters of Advice to Apply. The lowest ranking score was 433. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 29 Letters of Advice to Apply under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 719. In addition, MPNP invited 260 candidates who have a close relative in Manitoba or have six months of work experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list. The lowest score of those candidates was 563. Finally, MPNP also invited 44 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 595 invitations in this round and the total number of invitations issued in March is 1335. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 3,199 candidates via MPNP.

Inventory of MPNP consist of 1,854 profiles of Skilled Workers

As of March 1, 2019, there were 1,845 profiles of Skilled Workers in the Inventory of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. 1,082 were submitted in January and 772 in February. All those profiles received a Letter of Advice to Apply for MPNP. In addition, 44 Business Investor Stream candidates submitted their business concepts (18 in January and 26 in February). 13 of them also received a Letter of Advice to Apply. In total, MPNP issued 576 nominations in 2019 (278 in January and 298 in February). Only 9 of them were issued to Business Investors.

Immigration to Manitoba: The province nominated a record number of immigration candidates in 2018

Manitoba issued a record 5,207 nominations for Canadian permanent residence in 2018, with 98% going to skilled worker candidates. 5,119 nominations went to candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas immigration streams. The remaining 88 nominations went to candidates in Manitoba’s Business Investor Stream. 339 applications have been refused in 2018.

Manitoba held a new Expression of Interests draw

On March 14, 2019, there was a new Expression of Interests draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This round was 61st since the beginning of the program. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 63 Letters of Advice to Apply under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score of those candidates was 695. In addition, MPNP invited 274 candidates who have a close relative in Manitoba or have six months of work experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list. The lowest score of those candidates was 564. In total, Manitoba issued 337 invitations in round #61 and 740 candidates in March. Since the beginning of 2019, Manitoba has already invited 2,604 candidates via MPNP.

On March 1, 2019, Manitoba held invitations round #60 in Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued was 126, and the lowest ranking score was 566. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 41 Letters of Advice to Apply under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative (the lowest score was 621); and 216 candidates who have a close relative in Manitoba or have six months work experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list. The lowest score of those invited is 565). Finally, MPNP invited 20 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued 403 invitations in this round. On February 21, 2019, only six days after round #58, Manitoba held a new draw in Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) under the Expression of Interest System. In the EOI Draw #59, Manitoba invited candidates only in the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. In total, Manitoba issued 338 Letters of Advice to Apply and the lowest score was 566. All candidates in this round should have a valid Express Entry profile and at least 6 months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list OR to have a close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience in Manitoba in combination with at least 6 months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list; and to satisfy a minimum language proficiency. In total, Manitoba issued 1864 invitations in 2019.
