Jun 30 – British Columbia invited 314 candidates

On June 30, 2020, British Columbia held a new round in the BCPNP. In this round, BCPNP invited 314 candidates. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 98 points, International Graduate – 100 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 79 points. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 98 points and International Graduate – 100 points. In addition, BCPNP excluded 31 occupations from participation in this draw. In total, British Columbia invited 4,215 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Jun 23 – 87 candidates have been invited in the Tech Pilot

On June 23, 2020, British Columbia held a new invitation round in the BC PNP Tech Pilot. In this round, British Columbia sent 87 invitations in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories was 80 points. British Columbia invited 3,901 candidates to apply for a nomination in 2020, and 1,228 of them were invited to the Tech Pilot. 

Jun 16 – British Columbia issued 276 ITAs

On June 16, 2020, British Columbia provided a new draw in the BCPNP. In this round, the province invited 276 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 100 points, International Graduate – 100 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 80. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 100 points and International Graduate – 103 points. In total, British Columbia invited 3,814 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Jun 9 – British Columbia issued 87 ITAs in the Tech Pilot draw

On June 9, 2020, British Columbia held a new draw in the Tech Pilot of the BC PNP. BC issued 87 ITAs in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 82 points. British Columbia has already invited 3,538 foreign nationals to apply for a provincial nomination in 2020 and 1,141 of them in Tech Pilot.

Jun 2 – British Columbia invited 241 skilled workers and 38 entrepreneurs

On Jun 2, 2020, British Columbia conducted new draws in the BCPNP for skilled workers and business candidates. BC issued 241 invitations for skilled workers in this round. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 100 points, International Graduate – 100 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 81 points. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 105 points and International Graduate – 105 points. BCPNP invited 9 candidates in the Entrepreneur Regional Pilot. The lowest score was 118 points. In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, the province invited 29 candidates with the lowest score of 121 points. BC invited 100 entrepreneurs in 2020 and 39 of them in the Regional Pilot. In total, British Columbia invited 3,039 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020. 

May 26 – British Columbia invited 133 Tech Pilot candidates

On May 26, 2020, there was a new draw in the British Columbia’s Tech Pilot. The province invited 133 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score did not change in all categories and was 80 points. So far, British Columbia invited 1,054 candidates in the Tech Pilot in 2020. In total, the province issued ITAs to 3,172 candidates in the BC PNP.

May 19 – British Columbia issued 158 ITAs

On May 19, 2020, British Columbia held a new draw in the BCPNP. In this round, the province invited 158 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 100 points, International Graduate – 103 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 81. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 110 points and International Graduate – 110 points. In total, British Columbia invited 3,039 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020. These 31 NOCs were excluded from the draw: 0621, 0631, 0632, 0651, 3236, 6211, 6311, 6313, 6321, 6322, 6341, 6421, 6511, 6512, 6513, 6521, 6522, 6523, 6524, 6525, 6531, 6532, 6533, 6562, 6564, 6611, 6621, 6711, 6721, 6722, and 6731.

May 12 – British Columbia invited 92 Tech Pilot candidates!

On May 12, 2020, British Columbia held a new Tech Pilot invitation round in the framework of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). BC issued 92 invitations in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories was 80 points. In total, BCPNP invited 2,881 candidates in 2020 and 921 of the received invitations through the Tech Pilot.

May 7 – British Columbia issued 237 ITAs

On May 7, 2020, British Columbia provided a new draw in the BCPNP. In this round, the province invited 237 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 102 points, International Graduate – 106 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 83. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 108 points and International Graduate – 106 points. In total, British Columbia invited 2,789 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Apr 29 – 75 candidates have been invited in the Tech Pilot

On April 29, 2020, British Columbia held a new invitation round in the BC PNP Tech Pilot. In this round, British Columbia sent 75 invitations in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories was 85 points. British Columbia invited 2552 candidates to apply for a nomination in 2020, and 829 of them were invited to the Tech Pilot. 

Apr 21 – British Columbia invited 91 Tech Pilot candidates

On April 21, 2020, there was a new draw in the British Columbia’s Tech Pilot. The province invited 91 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score did not change in all categories and was 85 points. So far, British Columbia invited 754 candidates in the Tech Pilot in 2020. In total, the province issued ITAs to 2,477 candidates in the BC PNP.

Apr 15 – British Columbia invited 147 Tech Pilot candidates!

On April 16, 2020, British Columbia held a new round in the BCPNP. In this round, BCPNP invited 271 candidates. The lowest scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 100 points, International Graduate – 102 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 85. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 105 points and International Graduate – 102 points. The government has excluded 34 NOCs from participation in this draw. In total, British Columbia invited 2,386 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Apr 7 – British Columbia invited 147 Tech Pilot candidates!

On April 7, 2020, British Columbia held a record-high draw in the Tech Pilot. In this round, BC invited 147 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories has decreased to 85 points for the first time in the last 12 months. British Columbia invited 2,115 candidates to apply for a nomination in 2020, and 663 of them were invited to the Tech Pilot. 

Apr 6 – British Columbia invited 18 business candidates

On April 6, 2020, British Columbia held a new round of invitations to business-candidates in the Entrepreneur Regional Pilot of the BCPNP. In this round, BC invited 18 candidates and this was the biggest draw in the Regional Pilot in history. The lowest score of this round was 107 points, nine points fewer than in the previous round. In total, BC has invited 62 business candidates in 2020 and 30 of them in the Regional Pilot. In 2019, the province invited 57 entrepreneurs in this stream. To date, there are 66 rural communities participating in the pilot.

Mar 30 – British Columbia invited 311 candidates

On March 30, 2020, British Columbia held a new round in the BCPNP. In this round, BCPNP invited 311 candidates. The lowest scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 102 points and International Graduate – 102 points. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 105 points and International Graduate – 102 points. The government has excluded the Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled (ELSS) category in this draw. In addition, BCPNP excluded other tourism, hospitality and retail-related occupations as well as fourteen occupations where BCPNP experienced a high volume of applications. In total, British Columbia invited 1,950 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Mar 17 – BC invited 87 candidates in the Tech Pilot

On March 17, 2020, British Columbia held the largest draw in the Tech Pilot. In this round, the province invited 87 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories remained 90 points. British Columbia invited 1,639 candidates to apply for a nomination in 2020, and 516 of them were invited to the Tech Pilot. 

Mar 10 – British Columbia issued 332 ITAs

On March 10, 2020, British Columbia provided a new draw in the BCPNP. In this round, the province invited 332 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 102 points, International Graduate – 106 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 83. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 110 points and International Graduate – 110 points. In total, British Columbia invited 1,552 people under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Mar 3 – 80 candidates have been invited in the Tech Pilot

On March 3, 2020, British Columbia held a new invitation round in the BC PNP Tech Pilot. In this round, British Columbia sent 80 invitations in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories remained 90 points. British Columbia invited 1,220 candidates to apply for a nomination in 2020, and 429 of them were invited to the Tech Pilot. 

Feb 27 – British Columbia invited 290 candidates in the new draw

On February 27, 2020, the government of British Columbia held a new draw in the BCPNP. This time, 290 candidates received invitations to apply for the provincial nomination. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 103 points, International Graduate – 108 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 85. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 115 points and International Graduate – 112 points. In total, British Columbia invited 1,140 registrants under all streams of BCPNP in 2020.

Feb 19 – British Columbia issued ITAs to 53 Tech Pilot candidates

On February 19, 2020, British Columbia held the fifth round of invitations in the BCPNP Tech Pilot. In this draw, BC issued 53 invitations to apply in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 90 points. This year, British Columbia already invited 349 Tech Pilot candidates. In total, British Columbia invited 850 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination in the BCPNP in 2020.

Feb 11 – British Columbia issued ITAs to 83 Tech Pilot candidates

On February 11, 2020, British Columbia conducted a new round of invitations in the BCPNP Tech Pilot. In this draw, BC issued 83 invitations to apply in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 90 points. This year, British Columbia already invited 296 Tech Pilot candidates. In total, British Columbia invited 797 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination in the BCPNP in 2020.

Feb 4 – BC Tech Pilot invited 85 candidates

On February 4, 2020, British Columbia held a new invitation round in the Tech Pilot of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) in 2020. In this draw, BC invited 85 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 90 points. To date, in 2020 British Columbia invited 213 foreign nationals to apply for a provincial nomination via Tech Pilot.

Feb 4 – British Columbia invited 19 entrepreneurs

On February 4, 2020, British Columbia invited 19 business-candidates under its two streams of business immigration. In this round, BCPNP invited to apply 5 candidates in the Regional Pilot. The lowest score in this round was 116, five points higher than in the previous round. In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, the province invited 14 candidates with the lowest score of 115, two points less than in the previous draw. In 2020, BC invited 44 entrepreneurs and 12 of them were invited in the framework of the Regional Pilot.

Jan 28 – British Columbia invited 284 candidates

On January 28, 2020, British Columbia held a new draw in the BCPNP. The province invited 284 candidates. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 100 points, International Graduate – 103 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 85 points. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 110 points and International Graduate – 105 points. To date, BC invited 610 candidates in 2020.

Jan 21 – British Columbia issued 58 ITAs in the Tech Pilot draw

On January 21, 2020, British Columbia held a new draw in the Tech Pilot of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) in 2020. BC issued 58 ITAs in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 90 points. British Columbia has already invited 326 foreign nationals to apply for a provincial nomination in 2020 and 128 of them in Tech Pilot.

Jan 14 – BC Tech Pilot invited 70 candidates

On January 14, 2020, British Columbia held the first invitation round in the Tech Pilot of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) in 2020. In this draw, BC invited 70 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 90 points. Last year, BC invited 1,534 Tech Pilot candidates. So far, in 2020 British Columbia invited 268 foreign nationals to apply for a provincial nomination.

Jan 14 – British Columbia invited 25 business immigrants

On January 14, 2020, British Columbia invited 25 business-candidates under its two streams of business immigration. In this round, BCPNP invited to apply 7 candidates in the Regional Pilot. The lowest score in this round was 111, one point less than in the last draw in 2019. In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, the province invited 18 candidates with the lowest score of 117, also one point less than in the previous draw. In 2019, BC invited 289 business-candidates and 57 of them were invited via the Regional Pilot.

Jan 7 – British Columbia issued 173 invitations in the new round of BCPNP

On January 7, 2020, British Columbia held the first draw in the BCPNP in 2020. The total number of candidates invited in this round is 173. The scores in the Skills Immigration category were: Skilled Worker – 100 points, International Graduate – 103 points, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker – 85 points. In the Express Entry British Columbia category, the scores were: Skilled Worker – 110 points and International Graduate – 105 points.
