Jun 12 – Alberta invited 148 candidates in the AINP

On June 12, 2020, Alberta released a new update of the AINP. As of Jun 9, the province received 1,175 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and 300 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. Additionally, on May 27, 2020, the AINP issued 148 Notifications of Interest (NOI) in the Alberta Express Entry Stream draw and the lowest score was 300 points. In 2020, Alberta already issued invitations to 1,746 Express Entry candidates.

May 27 – Alberta invited 191 candidates to apply for a nomination

On May 27, 2020, Alberta released a new update of the AINP. As of May 26, the province received 1,250 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and 300 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. Additionally, on May 13, 2020, the AINP issued 191 Notifications of Interest (NOI) in the Alberta Express Entry Stream draw and the lowest score was 300 points. In 2020, Alberta already issued invitations to 1,598 Express Entry candidates.

May 13 – Alberta invited another 200 candidates from the Express Entry

On May 13, 2020, Alberta updated the AINP inventory. As of May 12, AINP received 1,625 applications pending eligibility assessment and 1,325 of them are in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Additionally, Alberta held a new round of invitations in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On April 29, 2020, AINP invited 200 candidates and the lowest score of this draw was 322 points. In 2020, Alberta already issued Notifications of Interest to 1407 Express Entry candidates.

Apr 28 – There are 1,700 applications waiting for the assessment in Alberta

On April 28, 2020, Alberta released the new update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The inventory of the AINP has 1,700 applications that are waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,425 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Those applications were received before January 3, 2020. The quota of Alberta allocated by the Federal Government for 2020 will be available at a later time.

Apr 21 – Alberta invited 320 candidates for the provincial nomination in April

On April 21, 2020, Alberta updated the AINP inventory. As of April 14, Alberta received 1,750 applications waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them, 1,475 were submitted in the Alberta Opportunity Stream.  In addition, AINP conducted two new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On April 1, 2020, Alberta invited 120 candidates whose score was 381 points or higher. On April 14, AINP issued 200 Notifications of Interest (NOI) and the lowest score of the round was 353 points. In total, in 2020 Alberta already invited 1207 candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply for the provincial nomination.

Apr 6 – Alberta invited 136 candidates in a March 18 draw

On April 6, 2020, Alberta updated the AINP inventory. As of April 1, the province received 1,775 applications waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them, 1,475 were submitted in the Alberta Opportunity Stream.  In addition, AINP conducted a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On March 18, 2020, Alberta issued 136 Notifications of Interest (NOI) and the lowest score of the round was 300 points. Alberta has already invited 887 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream this year.

March 24 – Alberta updated the AINP inventory

On March 24, 2020, Alberta updated the AINP inventory. As of March 18, there are1,750 applications that are waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,475 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In addition, the province conducted a new draw in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On March 4, 2020, AINP invited 100 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 300 points. In total, Alberta invited 751 candidates in this stream in 2020.

March 11 – Alberta invited 150 candidates on February 20

On March 11, 2020, Alberta released the new update of the AINP inventory. As of March 3, there are 2,025 applications that are waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,575 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In addition, the Alberta held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On February 20, 2020, AINP invited 150 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 300 points. In total, Alberta invited 651 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2020.

February 4 – Alberta invited 351 Express Entry candidates

On February 4, 2020, Alberta released the new update of the AINP inventory. There are 1,950 applications that are waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,700 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In addition, Alberta held two new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On January 22, 2020, Alberta held the second invitation round in 2020, in which it invited 201 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 350 points. On January 29, 2020, the province invited 150 foreigners, and the lowest score was 300 points. This year, Alberta invited 501 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2020.

January 21 – Alberta issued ITAs to 150 Express Entry candidates

On January 21, 2020, Alberta released the new update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). As of January 21, 2020, the inventory of the AINP has 2,175 applications that are waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,750 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In addition, on January 9, 2020, Alberta held the first invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream this year. AINP invited 150 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 350 points. Last year, AINP invited 6,884 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream.

January 14 – There are 2,175 applications waiting for the assessment in Alberta

On January 14, 2020, Alberta released the first update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). As of January 6, 2020, the inventory of the AINP has 2,175 applications that are waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,725 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Those applications were received before July 26, 2019. The quota of Alberta allocated by the Federal Government for 2020 will be available at a later time.
