Alberta is assessing 1,900 applications
On December 17, 2019, Alberta updated the inventory of the AINP. There are 1,900 applications in the AINP’s inventory waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,475 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Those applications were received before July 18, 2019. In the Alberta Express Entry Stream, AINP invited 6,884 candidates in 2019.
Alberta issued all nominations for 2019
On December 6, 2019, Alberta announced it completed the quota for AINP nominations in 2019. The province issued its last 24 nominations. It will resume the issuance of nominations in January 2020. There are 1,750 applications in the AINP’s inventory waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,275 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. On December 5, 2019, AINP held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. The province invited 132 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 400 points. AINP invited 6,884 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019.
Alberta issued 412 nominations in the AINP
On December 3, 2019, Alberta updated the inventory statistics of the AINP. The province issued 412 nominations since the last update on November 22. So far, AINP issued 5,976 certificates of nominations. This means that by the end of the year, Alberta can nominate only 24 candidates to reach its quota of 6,000 nominations. As of today, there are 1,750 applications in the AINP’s inventory waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,275 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream.
Alberta invited 148 candidates and nominated 393 persons in the AINP
On November 22, 2019, Alberta updated the statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The province issued 393 nominations since the last update on November 8. In total, Alberta already issued 5,564 certificates of nomination in 2019. Another 2,200 applications are currently waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,175 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In addition, the province held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On November 6, 2019, Alberta invited 148 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 400 points. In 2019, Alberta invited 6,752 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
Alberta invited 401 candidates in two draws and nominated 309 people
On November 8, 2019, Alberta updated the statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The province issued another 309 nominations since the last update on October 23. In total, Alberta nominated 5,171 candidates this year. Another 1,950 applications are currently waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,150 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Also, the province held two new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On October 24, 2019, Alberta invited 372 candidates and the lowest score was 300 points, while on October 30, 2019, the province invited 29 candidates with the lowest score of 350 points. In total, Alberta invited 6,604 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019.
Alberta invited 115 candidates in the new draw and nominated 232 foreigners
On October 23, 2019, Alberta updated the immigration statistics in the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Since the last update on October 9, the province issued another 232 certificates of the provincial nomination. In total, Alberta issued 4,862 nominations this year. Another 1,650 applications are currently waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 1,025 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. The province held a new draw in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On October 9, 2019, Alberta invited 115 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 350 points. Alberta invited 374 candidates on September 25 draw
On October 9, 2019, Alberta updated the immigration statistics in the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Since the last update on September 26, the province nominated another 255 candidates. Alberta nominated 4,378 candidates in the AINP in 2019
On September 26, 2019, Alberta updated the statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). So far, the province nominated 4,378 candidates in 2019, 263 more since the last update on September 10, 2019. Another 1,650 applications are currently waiting for the assessment and among them 925 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Alberta has finally completed the processing of all applications in the Employer-Driven Stream. In addition, Alberta held two new draws in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. On September 11, 2019, AINP invited 339 candidates and the lowest score was 302 points. On September 18, 2019, Alberta invited another 139 candidates and the lowest score was 350. In total, Alberta invited 5,714 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019.

On September 10, 2019, Alberta updated the immigration statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The province issued 4,115 provincial nomination certificates in 2019. Since the last update on August 27, 2019, Alberta issued 247 nomination certificates. Another 1,640 applications are currently waiting for the eligibility assessment and among them 900 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are less than 5 unassessed applications in the International graduate category and less than 5 applications in the Skilled worker category. In addition, on August 28, 2019, Alberta conducted a new draw in the Alberta Express Entry Stream of the AINP. In the new round, AINP invited 294 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 400 points. In total, Alberta invited 5,236 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019.

On August 15, 2019, Alberta conducted a new draw in the Alberta Express Entry Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). In the new round Alberta invited 121 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 400 points. In total, Alberta invited 4,942 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019. On August 27, 2019, the province also updated the immigration statistics of the AINP. To date, Alberta issued 3,868 provincial nomination certificates in 2019. Since the last update on August 13, 2019, Alberta issued 267 nomination certificates. Another 1,640 applications are waiting for the eligibility assessment, and 925 of them are in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Alberta issued 3,601 nomination certificates in 2019
On August 13, 2019, Alberta updated statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). As of this date, Alberta issued 3,601 nomination certificates in 2019. Since the last update on July 24, 2019, 216 candidates were nominated by Alberta. Another 1,550 applications are waiting for eligibility assessment. In addition, on July 31 and August 7, Alberta held two rounds of invitations in the Alberta Express Entry Stream of the AINP. On July 31, AINP invited 319 candidates and the lowest score of the round was 400 points. On August 7, Alberta issued Notification of Interest (NOI) Letters to 35 candidates whose lowest score was 352 points. In total, Alberta invited 4,821 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019.
Alberta invited 471 candidates in two draws of the AINP
On July 17 and July 24, 2019, Alberta held two rounds of invitations in the Alberta Express Entry Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). On July 17, Alberta issued 251 invitations to apply. The lowest score among those who received a Notification of Interest (NOI) Letters was 400 CRS. On July 24, AINP issued 220 invitations to apply with the lowest score of 303 CRS. In total, Alberta invited 651 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in July, while the total number of invitations in 2019 has reached 4,467 candidates. In addition, Alberta updated the statistics of the AINP. As of July 30, AINP issued 3,385 provincial nomination certificates, 297 more since the last update on July 16. 1,560 applications are waiting for eligibility assessment, and 975 of them are in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are less than 5 unassessed applications in the International graduate category and less than 5 applications in the Skilled worker category.
Alberta invited 180 candidates via AINP
On July 5, 2019, Alberta held a new round of invitations in the Alberta Express Entry Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). In this round, Alberta issued 180 invitations to apply. The lowest score of this round has seriously increased to 425 CRS. In total, Alberta invited 3,996 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019. In addition, on July 18, Alberta updated its immigration statistics. On June 21, 2019, Alberta issued invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to 262 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The lowest score among those who received a Notification of Interest (NOI) Letters was 300 CRS. In total, Alberta invited 3,816 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019. In addition, on July 8, Alberta updated immigration statistics of the AINP. Alberta has already issued 2,767 provincial nomination certificates. 1,866 applications are waiting for eligibility assessment and among them 1,030 in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Alberta has updated the AINP statistics
On June 17, 2019, Alberta published new data about the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). As of today, AINP issued 2,476 provincial nomination certificates. 2,058 applications are currently waiting for eligibility assessment. In the Alberta Opportunity Stream, the approximate number of applications waiting for assessment is 1,050. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are last 60 unassessed applications in the International graduate category and less than 10 applications in the Skilled worker category.
Alberta issued 2,251 nominations in 2019
On June 4, 2019, Alberta updated the information about the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). In the first five months of 2019, AINP issued 2,251 provincial nomination certificates. Another 2,050 applications are waiting for the eligibility assessment and 1,025 of them are in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are the last 100 unassessed applications in the International graduate category and less than 10 applications in the Skilled worker category.
Alberta nominated 2,039 candidates in 2019
On May 21, 2019, Alberta updated the immigration statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). So far, AINP issued 2,039 nomination certificates in 2019. Another 2,075 applications are waiting for eligibility assessment. Among them, 975 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are over 175 unassessed applications in the International graduate category and less than 10 applications in the Skilled worker category. AINP completed the assessment of all applications in the Strategic Recruitment Stream and is no longer accepting applications under this stream. On May 15, 2019, Alberta held a new draw in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. In the new round, AINP issued 197 Notifications of Interest (NOI) and the lowest score was 301. AINP invited 3,554 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream in 2019.
Alberta issued 1,783 nomination certificates in 2019
Alberta updated the immigration statistics of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). As of May 8, 2019, there are 2,100 applications that await assessment for eligibility, and 950 of them in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are over 225 unassessed applications in the International graduate category and less than 10 applications in the Skilled worker category. In the Strategic Recruitment Stream, there are less than 10 applications in the Post-graduate worker category. AINP also held 5 invitation rounds in March, 4 invitation rounds in April, and the last draw on May 2, 2019, in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. In those rounds, AINP issued 2,641 invitations. In total, AINP invited 3,357 candidates in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. The federal government has allocated 6,000 nominations for the AINP in 2019, and 1,783 nominations have already been issued.
In 2019 Alberta has already invited 1,651 Express Entry candidates!
On March 20, 2019, Alberta updated the information about the invitation rounds in the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The federal government has allocated 6,000 nominations for the AINP in 2019. This quota also includes 250 nominations for temporary foreign workers in National Occupational Classification (NOC) C occupations under the federal NOC C initiative. The province continues the assessment of the applications submitted in the old streams such as Employer-Driven Stream and Strategic Recruitment Stream (about 1,600 applications remaining). At the same time, AINP held six rounds of invitations in the newly opened Alberta Express Entry Stream and invited 1,651 candidates. 881 of them already received nomination certificates.

Approximately 1,680 applications are waiting for eligibility assessment and 700 of them are in the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In the Employer-Driven Stream, there are less than 10 applications in the Food and beverage processing industry category, over 600 applications in the International graduate category, and over 50 applications in the Skilled worker category. In the Strategic Recruitment Stream, there are over 90 unassessed applications in the Post-graduate worker category.
